On the banks of Rend Lake, this beautiful challenging public 27-hole golf course was named one of the best in the Midwest. It has paved cart paths, mature trees, wide fairways, large greens, beautiful landscaping, fountains and lots of challenges. The course was designed by E. Lawrence Packard, ASGCA and opened in 1976. It has a lighted driving range and a pro shop with a USGA pro.
The Rend Lake Golf Course is part of the Rend Lake Golf Complex which also includes Seasons Lodge & Condominiums, Buck & Bass Cabins, Tino's on the Tee (a full service restaurant and sports bar) and a banquet hall to accommodate 200 guests.
The Rend Lake Golf Complex offers year round special lodging/golf packages and is only 1/4 mile west of the Interstate 57 Exit 77.

Harris, ASGCA, offers unique challenges and golfing excellences. The course features 3,050 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The rating is 35.0 with a slope rating of 113. It features mature trees, spacious greens and paved golf cart paths and a driving range. Watch out for hole number 2 with its par 5. From the tee it is guarded on the right with mature trees and then with trees on the left as the play approaches the green. Come enjoy 100 years of unique golfing excellence and tradition. The Franklin County Country Club (FCCC) Golf Course is a beautiful semi-private 18-hole regulation course. It proudly celebrates 100 years of golfing tradition in 2021. This one of a kind course features large, stately trees, Bermuda fairways and bent green grass along with the challenges and traditions of a mature course. It features 6,600 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. This beautiful course was designed by Ted Locke and opened in 1921. The Franklin County Golf Course also features a driving range, locker rooms, a pro shop and a fine dining restaurant.

The Franklin County Country Club (FCCC) is only 1 mile form West Frankfort with its many restaurants and attractions and only 7 miles south of Rend Lake.
