South Sandusky Beach

South Sandusky Beach offers a large sand area, buoyed swim area, life jacket loaner stations, shaded picnic sites, foot showers, large change/shower houses, restroom facilities, walkways to the beach area, and two reservable picnic shelters. The beach is located on the west side of Rend Lake in the South Sandusky Campground.

Fees for beach use are charged per day, $5.00* per vehicle.  Persons displaying a valid Corps of Engineers campsite registration tag, an America the Beautiful pass, or the Corps of Engineers Annual Day Use Pass will receive free admittance. Passes can be purchased at the Rend Lake Visitor Center and other select locations. South Sandusky Beach is open from May to September. North Marcum Beach

North Marcum Beach is located at the end of the Marcum Branch Road, on the east side of Rend Lake.  Fees for beach use are charged per day, $5.00* per vehicle.  The beach at North Marcum offers the following amenities: separate sandy areas for swimming and boat mooring, shower facilities, picnic sites, and a playground.  This beach is dog-friendly. All dogs must remain on a leash no longer than 6′ in length. Accessible restrooms and outdoor rinsing showers will be new to the area during the summer of 2021.  Two picnic shelters are available in the North Marcum day-use area, a short distance from the beach. Shelters may be reserved thru www.Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
